Welding Instructions:

  • Preheat towing eye slowly before starting welding.
  • En8 material hitches to 100 degrees
  • En16 material hitches to 200 ~ 250 degrees before starting welding.
  • Check with temperature indicator crayons or paint.
  • Maintain preheat during welding process.
  • Mild steel chassis members do not require preheating.
  • Ensure the weld cools slowly in a controlled environment.

Recommended Welding Size:

  • 15mm leg length (Min.12mm) along both sides (Min 150mm), and across the back of the hitch.
